DC-DC Filters – Input

The M-FIAM is a DC front-end module that provides EMI filtering and transient protection. The M-FIAM line of products enables designers using Vicor's 24, 28 or 300 Vin Maxi, Mini, Micro DC-DC converters or 28 Vin MIL-COTS VI Chip modules to meet conducted emission/conducted susceptibility per MIL-STD-461E and input transient surges per MIL-STD-704 or MIL-STD-1275. In addition, the MVA-FIAM5B and MVA-FIAM9 offers designers using the M-FIAM5B or M-FIAM9 the capability of coldplate mounting with convenient input and output connectors.



DC Converters – Isolated Regulated

MIL-COTS VI Brick PRM, VTM, and BCM modules utilize the technical advantages of Factorized Power™ including high density and efficiency, low-noise operation, fast transient response, and elimination of bulk capacitance at the point of load (PoL). These regulation and transformation modules provide flexibility and scalability to design for unique requirements based on multiple outputs, power levels and physical layout. The rugged aluminum baseplate enclosure and through-hole pin connection provide a simplified platform for mounting and thermal management.


  Cool-Power ZVS Isolated DC-DC Converter
The Cool-Power family's very high-density isolated DC-DC converters are built on a proprietary ZVS topology using advanced control silicon integration, state-of-the-art planar magnetics and high-performance power semiconductor technology enabling high-switching frequencies.



MIL-COTS Maxi, Mini, Micro DC-DC Converters
The Maxi, Mini, Micro family of DC-DC converters provides high density, low noise, with advanced power processing. The Maxi, Mini, and Micro converters are compact and efficient, and offer wide input ranges, remote sense, enhanced output programmability, and low standby dissipation. Low noise zero-current and zero-voltage switching and advanced power semiconductor packaging provide up to 120 W/in3 with low temperature gradients.

Fully encapsulated, Maxi, Mini and Micro series DC-DC converters utilize a proprietary spin fill process that assures complete, void free encapsulation making them suitable
for the harshest environments. Two grades (H & M) are available with temperatures to -55°C operating and -65°C storage. H & M-Grade modules are qualified to the stringent environmental tests of MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-202 and undergo 100% Environment Stress Screening.
