Vicor is expanding to vertically integrate core printed circuit board operations.  As such, we are seeking a candidate to assist in establishing the wet chemistry process lab to support all plating fabrication operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing the setup of the equipment and processes at the Vicor facility located in Andover, MA.


  • Day to day operation and running of Vicor product on horizontal / vertical wet process lines
    • Hands on running Vicor arrays through all processes
  • Review/inspect/measure the product to specification limits.  The ability to stop production when non-conformance trends are noted
  • Daily line operation/startup
    • Equipment startup
    • First article checks
    • Line process checks (pH, rinse conductivity, etc)
  • Perform all maintenance on the process lines
    • Filter changes
    • Roller cleaning
    • Nozzle cleans
    • Rinse flush
  • Entering all data into statistical software for process monitoring.  The ability to analyze the results for conformance and stop/raise questions based on out of spec variables
  • The ability to use a computer
    • Enter/load product recipes (line speed, spray pressure, etc) based on documented work instructions
    • The ability to be trained on all software
  • The willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) for all operations

Minimum Requirements

  • 0-3 years’ working experience
  • The ability to be trained in all process areas
  • The ability to work on your feet for the entire shift
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs
