Responsibilities

The Marketing Data Analyst and Business Intelligence Specialist will be responsible for delivering actionable insights to the global marketing team, as well as to the sales team and the rest of the organization. We are not looking for a “number cruncher” who is content to run reports; rather we are looking for someone who can clearly communicate and demonstrate where we can improve our marketing strategy and execution and identify areas for growth. This role will be an integral part of the marketing team, including the global marketing managers, and will report directly to the VP of Corporate Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics as well as a broad perspective on how analytics can improve business processes and outcomes.

  • Maximize engagement from, and ROI of, integrated marketing campaigns via data analysis
  • Review and provide actionable recommendations to improve advertising effectiveness
  • Report on marketing KPIs including, leads, conversion rates, website traffic, and social media engagement
  • Evaluate customer on-line behavior and provide insights and recommendations to improve UX and CX
  • Support marketing organization by designing and executing tests (e.g., A/B testing) and providing actionable analysis of results
  • Analyze and provide actionable insights from sales funnels and leads programs
  • Track, report, and analyze web analytics, SEM/PPC programs, e-mail campaigns, and lead conversions
  • Track, report, and analyze competitors / conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reporting, including ad hoc requests and report automation
  • Develop and maintain lead and sales enablement dashboards and reporting
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for marketing analysis and dashboard needs
  • Develop methods and processes and infrastructure for data collection and operations, including close collaboration with the web team to ensure proper content tagging
  • Support infrastructure for web analytics and reporting
  • Gain proficiency in Google Analytics, Tableau, and TBD marketing automation platform
  • Gain proficiency in statistic and data analysis

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Prior experience as a marketing analyst or similar role
  • Experience using data analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView
  • Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques, A/B testing, customer segmentation, marketing effectiveness, and revenue/opportunity attribution
  • Experience building and automating management-level reporting
  • Experience in statistical analysis
