Automotive Event: Nagoya and online stage 1 & 2
Automotive Engineering Exposition 2026

Solving automotive electrification challenges with the highest efficiency and highest power density power modules
Vicor will be participating in the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2026 (organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan).
During ONLINE STAGE 1 & ONLINE STAGE 2, held from May 19th to July 1st, we will be releasing our latest online seminars.
At the exhibition held at Aichi Sky Expo (Aichi International Convention Center) from June 17 to 19, we will be exhibiting jointly with Mouser Electronics, showcasing the latest Vicor automotive products, including high-voltage bidirectional fixed-voltage converters and compact DC-DC regulators suitable for low-voltage power distribution.
Vicor to present at Automotive Engineering Exposition 2026 ONLINE STAGE 1 & 2 and Nagoya
Online Stage 1: May 19, 10:00 AM – June 9, 5:00 PM (JST)
Online Stage 2: June 10, 10:00 AM – July 1, 5:00 PM (JST)
Efficient 48V power conversion for advanced automotive applications with Vicor modules
Presented by Seishi Tsukimoto, Senior Application Engineer, Vicor
Vicor will present automotive application case studies utilizing Vicor’s high-performance power modules, including active suspension, windshield de-icing systems, and seat heating. Seishi Tsukimoto will explain how Vicor’s proprietary power architecture and fixed-ratio DC-DC converters enable efficient conversion from high voltage to a safe 48V supply, as well as optimal power delivery for regenerative and pulsed loads by leveraging bidirectional operation and fast transient response.
In addition, we will introduce design approaches for realizing compact, high power-density automotive power systems where high voltage, 48V, and 12V domains coexist.

Seishi Tsukimoto has over 20 years of research and development/design of DC-DC converters for industrial equipment, automotive, satellites and etc, and over 10 years of research and development of motor inverters. Since 2018, as a Senior Application Engineer at Vicor, Tsukimoto is mainly in charge of technical support for automotive.

About Automotive Engineering Exposition
Automotive Engineering Exposition is organized by The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE). It began in 1992 as a specialized exhibition of automobile technology for engineers and researchers active on the front lines of the automobile industry. It is held in Yokohama every year around May, and from 2014 it will also be held in Nagoya around July.
It is the largest automotive technology exhibition in Japan.
In order to promote technological innovation in the automobile industry, not only manufacturers of two-wheel and four-wheel completed vehicles, but also parts manufacturers, body manufacturers, research institutions, automobile-related companies, universities, vocational schools, and technical high schools participate. Register for the event.
