With the continuous increase in power demand across many industries, efficient high-voltage conversion is becoming increasingly important. To reduce power delivery network (PDN) conversion losses, 48V is rapidly being adopted. Vicor DC-DC converters are optimized for 48V, providing higher efficiency, density and performance. Additionally, power modules enable design flexibility and are easier to implement than discrete power solutions. Due to the lower profile and small size they can be easily configured and scaled.

Vicor will present on best the way to migrate to 48V PDN and will introduce its Factorized Power Architecture, which is used to achieve best-in-class current density and efficiency for the most demanding power systems.

Register for Vicor’s presentation on “High Efficiency Power and Conversion Technology” (Tech Taipei), introducing the migration to 48V power delivery networks.

About Tech Taipei

The demand for global electricity is increasing, especially with the popularity of AI and its deepening into more applications. In order to achieve energy saving and carbon reduction, as well as to maximize the utilization of electricity, it is necessary for either chip level components or the entire power system to improve efficiency and reduce losses during the power conversion process. At the same time, the power system design must not only aim at higher power and conversion efficiency, but also take cost, product size, and safety into account.
