The industry has witnessed a dramatic surge in power consumption with the increase of data processing via edge computers. To meet these soaring demands requires enhanced power delivery networks (PDNs). Robust power delivery entails not just the distribution of power, but also the efficiency, size, and thermal performance of a system. Vicor power-dense modules are top performing DC-DC converters that are easy to configure and can be used in series to quickly scale to accommodate higher power demands.
Sean Wu joined Vicor in August 2012 as a Principal Application Engineer, and he is responsible for the research and promotion of data communication and high reliability power solutions. Before joining Vicor, Sean served as an application engineer in ON Semiconductor, providing technical support for AC-DC and DC-DC Power ICs; and then joined Semtech as Senior Application Engineer, providing technical support for signal and clock processing, communication power supply and interface protection.
