For over 40 years Vicor has been a respected and trusted member of the Andover business community. Since the beginning, Vicor has insisted on keeping its design, manufacturing capabilities, and jobs here in Massachusetts. We are proud to carry on this tradition by investing 75 million dollars in our new 90,000 SF factory expansion, which is a 45% increase in manufacturing-floor capacity. This new factory expansion is the world's first ChiP™ (Converter housed in Package) fabrication facility and will help sustain our community for generations to come by providing our customers with the confidence Vicor can deliver innovative power solutions to meet their growing demands. 

Vicor remains committed to providing highly skilled jobs for the residents of our surrounding cities and towns making for a diverse and skilled workforce. Vicor was rated top 100 best industrial automation companies to work for in Massachusetts according to Best Start Ups.

On May 18th Vicor was proud to play host to a number of prominent local, state and federal government officials at our 400 Federal St. location in Andover, MA as part of our new factory opening celebration.
